• Remember, our cell phone and Personal Electronic Device policy:  “Off and Away all Day!”  That means any time you are on campus during the school day - even during breaks, when you are in the halls, in the front office or counseling center, or during lunch!  Thanks for all of your help with this policy;  If your phone or Personal Electronic Device is out, it can be confiscated and brought to the front office where it can be picked up at the end of the day.  With multiple infractions, you will need a meeting with parent or guardian prior to the device being returned and or leave it in the front office for the day. Remember the SHS ROSE - be Respectful of Others, yourSelf, and your Environment. 
• LifeTouch photos and proofs have arrived!  Please come to the front office to pick yours up and be prepared to provide your grade level and last name when you arrive.  
• Happy National Hispanic Heritage Month! Today we talk about Argentina! In the science and technology department, we honor Dr. René Favaloro. An Argentine cardiac surgeon, is credited with developing the technique for coronary artery bypass surgery in 1967. This groundbreaking procedure has saved countless lives and remains one of the most significant advancements in modern medicine. 
• Do you like Beavers?..... Do you want to BECOME a Beaver???!! ............ An Oregon State University Beaver, that is?!! Then you should come by C-9 on Wednesday to meet with their Admissions Advisor!! Her presentation will begin at 11:15.  See you there! 

• Boys & Girls Wrestling Team is going to start Pre-season practices today? Practice times are Mon/Wed/Fri 4-5:30pm. 
• After school tutoring is today in the library from 3:45 to 4:45. Get some work done, get help, and maybe win a pizza. 
• Sheldon's Native American Student Union is meeting TODAY during lunch in Miss Jackson's classroom room B28-A. All are welcome!
• The Disabled & Neurodivergent Student Union (DNSU) meets every Monday during lunch in room H-4, in the KRVM building hallway, as well as online via Google Meets. 
• We will discuss the history of the disability civil rights movement, legally protected rights of those who identify as neurodivergent and/or disabled, as well as breaking up the school day with some fun & decompression time. Come as you are, and share or don't share. We have arts and craft supplies. We support each other, by respecting and listening to each other, while sharing and exploring strategies to get what we each need for our own lives! Stop by and learn how to help support yourself and your community. See you Monday!

If that’s you, come to HOSA today for our club meeting at lunch in C9 for free snacks, a fun time, and a chance to learn more about the medical field. Hope to see you there
