- Remember, our cell phone and Personal Electronic Device policy: “Off and Away All Day!”. Thanks to everyone for all of your help with this policy; Most students are doing well with it! If your phone or Personal Electronic Device is out, it will be confiscated and brought to the front office where it can be picked up at the end of the day. With multiple infractions, you will need a meeting with parent or guardian prior to the device being returned. If you prefer, you can voluntarily leave it in the front office for the day. Remember the SHS ROSE - be Respectful of Others, yourSelf, and your Environment.
- Parking Reminders:
- You must have a valid SHS parking pass displayed to park at Sheldon. See the Finance Office if you need a parking pass to see if there are any more remaining. If you park without a permit during the school day, you may be ticketed.
- In addition, we are hearing reports that students are parking in the Community Center parking lot next door. This is not a place to park as this is not a Sheldon lot. Your car may be towed or ticketed if you park there. Please be good neighbors.
- Students, please bring your laptop to school every day fully charged. Your laptop is an important part of your daily work routine and is needed to complete your class assignments. Loaner laptops are only given out in the office if you are taking a quiz/ test in the classroom.
- Win a $5 Dutch Bros gift card! Every time you check out a book in the Library, write your name on a slip and drop it in the drawing bin. The more books you check out, the more chances you get to win. Drawings happen three times a week, and the bin resets each week—so keep reading and keep entering!
- The Gender and Sexuality Alliance meets on Tuesdays at lunch in room F-6. GSA provides a safe space for LGBTQIA2+ students and allies to come together, engage in discussions and activities, such as games or crafts, learn about queer history, and build community.
- Sheldon, come to the Divergence and Disability Alliance, our club meets every Monday in B-8, which is Dr. Clementi’s classroom. Every week, we share a meal and support strategies for students who are both neurodivergent and disabled. Stop by and learn how to help support yourself and your peers. Lunch is provided. See you Monday in B-8!
- APISU, Asian and Pacific Islander Student Union, is having a meeting today, May 4, during lunch in C-7. See you there!
- Are you wondering what you want to do after college? Are you even slightly interested in the medical field or saving lives one day? Or maybe you just want something that stands out on college applications and resumes. If that’s you, come to HOSA today at lunch in C-9 for free snacks, a fun time, and a chance to learn more about the medical field.
